Covid-19 Passports - Systemic Discrimination

Scenario: My medical condition prevents me from being vaccinated

Scenario: I am allergic to Covid-19 vaccine ingredients

Scenario: Taking the Covid-19 vaccine is against my religion

Scenario: Using natural and alternative healing methods is part of my cultural heritage 

The unvaccinated persons in all of the above scenarios should have the right to refuse the Covid-19 vaccination without discrimination. Taking the vaccine does not prevent contracting and passing along the virus. Taking the vaccine only reduces the impacts of having the virus. Why then has the Government of Canada implemented the Covid-19 Passport requiring proof of vaccination which takes away the once freedoms of going to a gym, restaurant, theatre, and so on for the above unvaccinated persons? They are no more a threat of having the virus and spreading the virus than the vaccinated. Why then is the Government of Canada allowing companies to discriminate against Canadians unable to be vaccinated by service and entry restrictions? It's simple, to target a specific group of unvaccinated persons.

If 100% of able Canadians followed the Government mandate of being Covid-19 vaccinated, the Covid-19 Passport would not exist. Why has it been implemented? Here's one reason: To punish and coerce the individuals in the following scenarios:

Scenario: I am not comfortable taking a newly generated drug with long-term effects unknown

Scenario: I do not trust the intentions of the Government of Canada behind mandating this vaccine

Scenario: The laws of the land has historically been created against the favour of my people causing inequity and harm. I am reluctant to happily accept prior to thorough observation and analysis 

The Covid-19 Passport is meant to pressure and force these unvaccinated persons to become vaccinated. What is becoming of Canada when the Government and majority of Canadian citizens and residences do not see the systemic discrimination resulting from the implementation of the Covid-19 Passport to target a specific group of unvaccinated persons?

Canadians, let's not be fooled. Both vaccinated and unvaccinated alike can contract, carry, and spread the Covid-19 virus. Covid-19 Passports restricting access will not reduce the spread. What it will do is reduce the individuals that become excessively ill requiring hospitalization. Government-funded hospitalization. Canadians, open your eyes. Covid-19 Passports are not for the purpose of public safety as it has been established that it does not reduce the spread of Covid-19. It is for the reduction of the use of resources. This in itself is a respectable purpose but the attempt to reduce the use of resources should not be at the expense of and discrimination against the unvaccinated persons that cannot change their vaccination status. 

Please! Speak up! We must not allow yet more systemic discrimination to occur in Canada! Unvaccinated persons due to medical, creed, and heritage should not have their rights taken away from them by way of Covid-19 Passports! Covid-19 Passports should be abolished for the sake of fair and equal treatment!
