Mandatory Covid-19 Testing for Remote Workers, Legal?
My employer has made it mandatory for all non-vaccinated persons to take bi-weekly Covid-19 tests for all staff including remote workers working at home 100% of the time. The issue of requiring only non-vaccinated persons to take Covid-19 testing when both vaccinated and non-vaccinated persons can contract and pass along the virus will be set aside for now. The immediate concern is, why is my employer entitled to my medical information if I am not working onsite and therefore not a risk to other employees? Is my employer permitted to govern the health and safety of my household? Why is it any business of my employer whether or not I am Covid-19 negative if I am NEVER onsite? Is it me, or is something very wrong here? Is this legal?
