Employers Covid-19 Policy - Discrimination, Reprisal, and Coercion for the Unvaccinated. Government of Canada Allows.

Fact: Vaccinated persons are not immune to the virus, can be carriers of the virus, and can spread the virus. 

Fact: Vaccinated persons are not less likely to contract and spread the virus but are only less likely to require hospitalization.

Fact: Vaccinated persons are a danger to unvaccinated individuals unable to take the vaccine due to legitimate reasons

Employers including my own have put in place a policy that require all unvaccinated persons to take a Covid-19 test at their own expense prior to being onsite. Employers do not, however, require vaccinated persons to take this test. Vaccinated persons are not only a danger to their unvaccinated co-workers but they are a danger to their vaccinated co-workers and all the individuals both vaccinated and unvaccinated alike that their co-workers come in contact with. Why then are only the unvaccinated persons being forced to take Covid-19 tests at their own expense? The answer is simple, it's punishment. Punishment for not fulfilling company policy in line with Government mandates. It's also coercion. Using force to persuade unvaccinated persons due to non-medical reasons to let go of their beliefs and take the vaccine. They want to make being unvaccinated so inconvenient, so unbearable, so annoying, that the unvaccinated gives up on fighting for their right to have their own beliefs. And the Government of Canada is allowing this to happen. The Government of Canada is in support of this happening. The Government of Canada is using this same method by way of Covid-19 Passports to coerce the unvaccinated to become vaccinated. The Government of Canada, as they have done in the past, is stripping the right to having a belief that does not fall in line with their own agenda. 

Do you know who else is standing by watching and applauding? Vaccinated persons. They are not impacted and so their eyes are not open to the discrimination, reprisal, coercion, abuse of power, and the taking of others' rights. They have not allowed themselves to think outside of the ideas that have been fed to them by the Government through media. Is the requirement of Covid-19 tests for unvaccinated persons to enter the work site really for the purpose of public safety? To all vaccinated persons, I challenge you to think for yourselves. Is it logical for unvaccinated persons to be forced to take the Covid-19 test prior to being onsite and not the vaccinated? Is it logical that even though we all can contract and spread the virus to all those exposed to us, that only unvaccinated persons must be tested? Please, think for yourselves. Does forcing unvaccinated persons to be tested and not vaccinated persons stop the virus from entering the workplace? Does it stop it from being passed along in the workplace and consequently taken home to medically ill family members unable to be vaccinated? Passed along to the bank teller allergic to Covid-19 vaccine ingredients? Passed along to the grocery clerk unvaccinated due to religious beliefs? Please, think for yourselves. Shouldn't we all be required to be tested prior to being onsite to truly and actually prevent the virus from entering the workplace? 

Don't stand idly by while the unvaccinated suffer reprisal and coercion under the false pretenses of public safety. Please speak up and demand that all employees both vaccinated and unvaccinated alike are tested to avoid the spread of Covid-19.
